Desert Island Discs with Holliedazzle

Hello, Fan Fun readers! It feels like it has been a long time since I last sat down to write for the site. I’m so glad to be back again, joining in on all the fun!

As a burlesque performer, I get to combine my favorite things a lot. My costuming skills, my love of certain characters or styles, and then of course, the music! From pop to rock to classical to movie soundtracks, I get to perform to whatever I choose!

I perform to Gabage’s Supervixen in this costume!

And naturally, as often as I can, I perform to my favorite band-Garbage. From the first album I owned on cassette, to the most recent I’ve downloaded onto my iPhone, I love them all. I can listen to hours of Garbage on end-I’d definitely take them with me to the island! So today I am going to take a page out of my burlesque life and I am going to mix my love of Garbage and my love of Damian Lewis into my own Desert Island Discs! Desert Island Discs with Damianista

I identify a lot of things in my life with music. Almost every piece of music I love reminds me of some sweet moment, and sometimes a bittersweet one from a particular time in my life. I associate my memories with music so much so that I believe we all should have a life soundtrack. And I know my husband would tell you mine should be the soundtrack of the movie Amelie! 😀

It has been pretty easy to identify the pieces of music that reminds me of Damian, who is a very musical man, or several characters that he brings to life. 48 Reasons to Love Damian Lewis

Welcome to Damian’s Birthday Party!

Damian is my fellow Aquarian. And if you believe in horoscopes — I cannot say I do but I enjoy reading them — then 2019 will be a GOOD year for us 😀 But, honestly, when it comes to Damian’s year, we don’t really need to read the horoscope, the tea leaves, or having grown up in Turkey, the coffee cup for him 🙂

Firstly, we are looking forward to the premiere of Billions Season 4 on Showtime March 17 at 9pm ET/PT! The series has already become the premium network’s second biggest show ever after Homeland and guess what — there is only one actor that has played in Showtime’s two biggest shows! 😀 And then the two films Damian has completed in 2018, namely Run This Town and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood are coming to a theater near us this year… So we can only imagine the possibilities 2019 may bring…

Happy Birthday, Damian! You make 48 look so damn good and so we have decided to come up with that many reasons to love you! ENJOY!
