Damianista’s Note: We originally shared this post during Season 4 of Billions. We thought it would be fun to share it again before Billions Season 6 premiers on Showtime on January 23. Enjoy and play along!

It’s game time!

Marry, Shag, Kill is a popular game in which players are presented with the names of three celebrities. Of the options presented, you must pick one to marry, one to shag and one to kill. But instead of killing, we’d rather banish to an island and instead of utilizing real celebrity names, we will play using Billions characters. Each of us has picked one Billions character to marry, one to shag and one to banish. You can play along, too, in the comments section or during your next road trip or dinner party!

Fan Fun with Damian Lewis is seven years old today!

Here we are, a bunch of inspired fans, 2557 days,  1226 blog posts and over  3.15 million views from 229 countries later… absolutely thrilled and totally beaming about how far we have come!

I had a conversation with Lewisto as I was pondering, in the last weeks of 2014, whether it would be worth keeping an online fan diary about Damian Lewis. Being the rational guy that he is, Lewisto suggested I run with this only if I was confident I could commit for at least two years so it would be worth the effort. Fan Fun with Damian Lewis has had an organic relationship with Billions. Or should I say “Bobby Axelrod: The Boy Whose Dad Finally Came Back”?

The Opportunity Zone project in Yonkers brings Axe a golden opportunity not only for receiving tax breaks but also for facing his past. Big time. I obviously knew Bobby’s dad was not a good husband or a good father, I mean the guy walked out on his wife and his 12 year old son, but still I never knew that Bobby has such a heartbreaking story where the wounds are still open and excruciatingly painful.

As he sits on the floor of his childhood room, a place where he thought he would never set foot again, Bobby shares with Wendy a story – this is not the entire story but only a glimpse into a very painful childhood –  about how it was back then. I am a burlesque performer, who specializes in holiday-themed acts.  Being known as the “Queen of Christmas”, I love merging my two worlds and bringing my love of the holiday season AND my love of all things Damian into one fun post.  Last year I was on the sidelines, due to Miss Rona still making the rounds.  Although she hasn’t quite been vanquished, we have some great vaccines now so I’ve been lucky enough to return to live performing with certain safety protocols in place.
