TOP Damian Lewis Moments 2024: The Radleys

Well, it is THAT time of the year again! We have “Best of 2023” lists wherever we look: Best Books of 2023, Best Movies of 2023, Best Music of 2023 and so on… And, it is our utmost pleasure to jump on the “Best of” wagon with our TOP Damian Lewis Moments of 2023! As we take the last weeks of the year to revisit the year Damian has had personally and professionally, we very much hope to put a smile on your face.

We don’t intend to rank the top moments as many “Best of” lists do. We pick the moments in which, we believe, Damian shines as a brilliant actor, a fantastic musician, a wonderful storyteller, a true gentleman, a serious athlete or just a guy who knows to have a good time and bring them to you.

And the moment with which we kick off this year’s top moments series is Damian’s black comedy The Radleys that is about an average suburban family with the usual problems who happen to be vampires!

‘The Radleys’ Review: Love, Addiction and Choices

This review was originally published on October 7, 2024, and updated on October 18, 2024, for the UK viewers.

“The comedic premise of the film is that this family is living this dull, suburban life, and they’ve got a big secret, and no one knows what it is until this event happens in the film. And then the shit hits the fan, all hell breaks loose.” – Damian Lewis.

I finally met The Radleys at Cinema Village in NYC. And I met them in style, too… with my fangs on! Continue reading “‘The Radleys’ Review: Love, Addiction and Choices”

The Radleys Is Coming Soon: Here’s All We Know About Damian Lewis’ New Movie

“Your instincts are wrong. Animals rely on instincts for their daily survival, but we are not beasts. We are not lions or sharks or vultures. We are civilized, and civilization only works if instincts are suppressed. So do your bit for society and ignore those dark desires inside you.” – The Abstainer’s Handbook (second edition), p. 54

The lucky ones among us were able to see The Radleys at its World Premiere at Edinburgh International Film Festival on August 20. The good news is that the long wait will be over for the rest of us – and just in time for the Halloween! The movie’s distributor Lionsgate tweeted and invited us to meet The Radleys with a new official trailer along with a U.S. release date. The movie will be at select movie theaters, on digital and on demand on October 4. In the UK, The Radleys will be released in movie theaters and on Sky Cinema and NOW on October 18.

Well, I “met” The Radleys more than a year ago when we first found out that Damian would star in a supernatural black comedy adapted from Matt Haig’s Sunday Times and New York Times Bestseller “The Radleys”. I listened to the audio book (read by Toby Leonard Moore aka Bryan Connerty from Billions!) first and then read the paperback.
